HELP SEEKING INFORMATION – FOB #2 KONTUM (1968)

Mr. LO VAN SUONG (an ethnic Thai), who served at FOB #2 in Kontum during the Vietnam War.
Dear Veterans and friends,
I am writing from Vietnam to seek information about my relative, Mr. LO VAN SUONG (an ethnic Thai), who served at FOB #2 in Kontum during the Vietnam War.
We still have his original ID card (Pass Number: 0866, Dept: W+3) which was signed by Issuing Officer JERRY J. GALL.
Tragically, Mr. Suong sacrificed his life in 1968. We also have a photo of him (on the left) taken with a U.S. soldier named STALEY (on the right).
Our family is looking for any information regarding:
Officer JERRY J. GALL (or his family). The soldier named STALEY in the photo. Any information about the mission or unit Mr. Suong served in.
We hope to find someone who remembers him or his American teammates. Any leads or contact information for Veterans’ organizations that could help our family would be a great blessing.
Thank you for your service and for your help!
Sincerely
Lò Văn Thương
