In Vietnam many of the special force units had their own insignia made up as did many of the men in the back alleys of Siagon. This is a museum quality reproduction of such a pin from 1968 with the initials PRU also hallmarked .925 which means it is sterling. The pin is 2 inches wide.

It is unusual being this small, maybe someone’s idea of a joke, a Mess Dress SF Badge. Because of its size it is not found in many collections. Most reproductions of this badge are done in junk metals, this is the one of the only ones done in sterling
