After Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA., I went to Fort Bragg, NC to attend US Special Forces training.  to Bu Dop Special Forces camp. (I arrived January 14, 1968). I was assigned to MACVSOG, CCS, Detachment B-50 East field located at Ban Me Thout, Vietnam. That last pic was my 270 meter stare’……The max effective range of my M-2 Carbine I am holding. Full auto = 750 rounds minute, field dress any VC down range! War is Hell! RIP JDS DOL!
