James G. Vernon
Jim Vernon was a Special Forces Medic assigned to CCN, MACV-SOG. He was at FOB-3, Khe Sanh, during the final months of the siege and later for a short time at FOB-3 when it relocated to Mai Loc. In addition to being the general medic for the camp, Jim was also a chase medic for various team insertions and extractions.
