SGT Michael J Morehouse, FOB-1. SGT Morehouse was wounded on April 1, 1969. Thirty-five years later he died of those wounds. He was 55 when he suddenly died on 14 Aug 2004 at his home in Albany, New York. His death certificate stated that his death was a result of the wounds he received in Vietnam, allowing his name to be added to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in 2010. Born February 15, 1949 in Kentucky, he was the beloved husband of Tracey (Papa) Morehouse. Michael’s humble southern beginnings were influences that shaped an incredible character. He had a respect for and a practical attachment for nature. He was buried at Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, N.Y.
